Here is my second stray cat. He is a bit shy but agreed to pose for one photograph. We actually have four, two black, one black and white and a tabby. 

Goodbye For Now

Stray Cat came for her last bowl of biscuits just now. My case is packed. I am about to put my computer away and go a meet Ryan downstairs for my ride to the airport. Ryan just messaged me to say he is awake. He has a lot of Virgo in his sign like me he understands .....

Trick Or Treat

I bought Stray Cat some Tuna cat food in a can for a special treat since I am leaving tomorrow. She was very happy about it.

Wild At Heart

On the way to get Black Bean Soup from Lime I pass a car park that is full of cats. Its hard to tell if they are stray or not as many of them are beautiful and have wonderful coats. As I stopped to look at them they all came over so I thought that they must, as Blanche would say be 'relying on the kindness of strangers.'

I got them a box of Purina on the way home and emptied it into various little piles so they could all get some without the dominant ones fighting them off. They seemed pretty pleased. Today there was a Flea Market on Lincoln Road and they had a stand where volunteers from a local cat charity were rehoming kittens and raising money for the feeding and neutering of stray cats. There does seem to be a high level of kindness to animals in this community which is so nice. I don't feel bad about leaving my Stray Cat when I go because even though I think I am his favourite human, lots of other people leave out water and food for him and his comrades.

Tabby Cat

Stray Cat has a friend who is a Tabby Cat - very shy hence long distance ariel shot from over the walkway but comes and gets food when he thinks you are not looking. I got them Salmon and Brown Rice food from Publix today.

Salad Dayz

Salad for brunch. I went to Publix supermarket this morning as I had to get Stray Cat's chicken & rice dry feline food. Stella has chicken & rice at home made fresh with M & S ingredients. Stray Cat is sitting on the doorstep when I get up in the morning. I met him when I first came here 18 months ago, he was sitting on the step as I got out of the taxi (I have since learnt how to use the bus). I went to the market and bought him some food and we have been the best of friends ever since. He is always here to greet me when I enter and leave the building. He waits in the hedges and follows me to the door even when there is already food in his bowl! It's not 100% true what people say about cats being total users. He is my companion while I am here and does not seem to mind that I disappear for months at a time.

I bet your momma don't know you can scream like that

I was sitting on the step with my stray cat this afternoon. Its been a funny day, I feel a little overcast as though I am some how corresponding with the weather. It rained all night but by this afternoon it had dried up however it wasn't beach weather, the atmosphere was quite heavy and I felt really lethargic.

Cat makes me smile though, she really likes people. When I came outside she rushed over from her spot at the end of the balcony and came and sat with me. Its funny because although she is wild she is very happy despite the fact that her life must be a little hard at times. I see the domestic cats around here staring sadly out of their windows, they have food and company but they pay the price of freedom for that. I am not sure what is best really. I think stray cat has things pretty figured out, she seems to have made enough friends to get her through.

I was met on the stairs by my mangey stray cat. Richard didn't have any cat food in so I picked up a chicken salad and gave it the chicken and ate the other bits myself. I think this cat is a girl, she is very skinny but I know she catches mice for snacks as I have seen her with one before. She has Purina chicken and rice cat biscuits now I am here.

Green eyes

Cat comes a couple of times a day for food. I am giving him biscuits called One Beyond from Publix. He is very freindly, he would like to come in but he probably has flea's. There are alot of wild cats in Miami, beautiful ones, Siamese, Greys all kinds. Mine is not really mine, he lives free and collects food from various sources along the balcony. I have a history of falling for promiscuous enitities so it is good to see that nothing ever really changes. Cat may well have been domestic once, he has been declawed which is a hideous US practice commonly inflicted on domestic cats.

I hear the click clack of your feet on the floor

I have a stray cat here in Miami. He adopted me in on the last day of last year. He is a proper witches cat with green eyes and black hair. I feed him a few times a day he likes Party Mix cat biscuits, I gave him tuna mayo from Wholefoods (super expensive) yesterday but he didn't like it much so he is back on biscuits today. I am thrilled that he (and I for that matter) has the same colouring as the Goddess or Queen Of Hell, depending on your perspective, Hecate. Where ever you go you just run into yourself.
