Loosing It

Burst into tears trying to figure out my MA essay, I am failing. Its complicated, I hate it, its confusing but I feel like I have to do it and as though if I don't do it then I am just proving myself to be a total waste of space.

Green For Go

The beach was so wonderful today. I realise that it has its own micro climate. Sometimes when I look at the sky it seems overcast and yet by the ocean it is always warm and sunny. I spent 3 days staying home because I thought it would not be worth going down to the sea, I was probably wrong.

Stormy Weather

Last night it rained really hard and kept going till about 11am this morning. The winds are very strong, a little dangerous in the exposed areas but warm. The Ocean was amazing - the warning flags were all red for Danger. All my beach pictures are shaky like this I think it was too hard to hold the camera steady. Really beautiful though.

Water Signs

Richard & I woke up early and went to the beach. We were on sun lounger by about 11am like Germans which was just as well as by 3 the clouds were rolling in and it was time to go.
We had lunch and got home just in time to avoid 3 hours of straight rain. It really comes down hard here although its not cold.

Secrets and Lies

When I look at the weather app on my Google home page, this is what I see for Miami. Even though I have chosen to stay in the apartment for most of the day to avoid the sun (my base tan hurts) the weather app insists that this is what is happening. It's 90 degrees outside. Yesterday was hot and clear all day and still the same picture was chosen to represent the weather. When I was buying my ticket I was looking on line at the weather and it showed the same kind of images. I was asking Richard if he thought I was making a mistake he was laying on the beach texting that he didn't know what I was talking about.

It's strange because although there has been rain and even one storm since I was here that really only accounts for about 8 hours of my whole trip and I was asleep for most of it.

Clouds in your coffee

These are like London clouds, you don't see clouds like this much here, either clear blue skies for miles or big rain clouds. This reminds me of home.
